The Uberkinky Shiny Nipple Chain & Clamps

The Uberkinky Shiny Nipple Chain & Clamps

I haven’t reviewed nipple clamps in a long time because I haven’t found a tempting one when strolling through the BDSM stores in Berlin. So when Uberkinky send me the Shiny Nipple Chain and Clamps to review I wasn’t too thrilled but luckily was pleasantly surprised.

Construction

The two clamps are 3cm long and on average 1cm wide. Despite being made out of sheet metal they are quite sturdy and have little flex thus I assume they are made out of some form of steel. Even pissing onto them didn’t lead to rust. The back of one side of the clamps is raised so it is easy to grip and open them up even when you have lubey fingers. The front has the shape of a half circle with a diameter of approx. 12mm. Inside this area is lined with textured black rubber which is hold in place by small dull teeth. The two clamps are connected by 31cm long chain.

Playing with it

I really like toys at which you can see that the person constructing it put some thought into the design. And the Shiny Nipple Chain and Clamps is a great example for such thinking.

Through the shape of the head you can create a wide range of sensations. For an intense sensation put just the tip with the dull teeth onto the nipples, for a mild and intriguing sensation use the entire width and length of head. So I made it a fun game to start out with the entire clamp covering the nipple and slowly pulling them forward as the scene progresses. The spring is only a medium strength I would say. However through the wide and flat surface of the head you can easily add Mawa clamps p.e. to increase the pressure.

Detail of the Grip Enhancing Lining

Detail of the Grip Enhancing Lining

Through the small teeth and textured rubber lining these clamps also stick to the body when the area is slippery through sweat or lube. Since I don’t know from which kind of rubber the lining is made so I would be cautious with silicone or fat based lubes because they could dissolve the material.

However the clever design fails to convince when playing in thicker gear. I found the small teeth a to big risk of scratching leather and rubber (and even ripping it) to squeeze covered skin between the two half of a clamp. Also the spring is too weak to by itself produce too much pressure for any recognizable effect through gear. They are also too bulky with too pointy corners to be worn under rubber. So I would recommend using them on bare skin only.

Conslusion: Well designed and flexible clamps for play on bare skin.

Oxballs Unit X Stretch

Comparing the Unit X Stretch to the Nuttsling

Comparing the Unit X Stretch to the Nuttsling

Over 1 ½ years ago I reviewed Oxballs’ Nuttsling and it instantly became one of my favorite toys. So when Uberkinky offer me a review sample what Oxballs positioned as a more modern update to their “old” sling line I was instantly intrigued. So instead of a traditionally review I am comparing the new comer to the old champion to see who will be leaving this Oxballs family fight as a winner.

Construction

The Unit X Stretcher follows the same basic constructionas the Nuttsling with three holes: One hole through which you put your balls and dick which is oblique for a comfortable fit when it is pressed onto your body and a hole each for your dick and your balls. While the Nuttsling had a more industrial look with bulges for reinforcements the Unit X Stretch uses thicker material and a rough sand clock shape to create the same compression resistance. Through this and an additionally internal bulge in the tube going down to your balls the sack’s neck is compressed a bit for a nice bulky balls look. The major difference to the Nuttsling is that the tube opens up a bit behind the bulge leading for a more comfortable wear. Generally speaking all holes and tubes are 1 to 2mm wider than on the Nuttsling so generally speaking this toy is a bit more comfortable to wear – despite the bigger stretch. The tube going down to your balls is now 51mm long vs. 35mm on the Nuttsling. This more of room and comfort apparently lead to the omission of the recesses for your seminal ducts.

Detail of the Larger Holes

Detail of the Larger Holes

Material-wise a little bit has changed. Oxballs claims to have used a new TPR blend which is supposed to be more stretchy and rubber-like. For the stretch I can’t really tell. It is a bit easier to put on but I wouldn’t attribute that to the new material but to the larger holes. For the feel, yes it feels a bit different, not like rubber but a little bit smoother. More importantly: I felt that the shine stays on way longer despite extensive usage so it at least looks more like rubber.

Playing with it

In the review of the Nuttsling I said that it is made for really long-term usage. This applies even more to the Unit X Stretch. I have worn it on long parties, nearly all Folsom Europe, slept with it on for a night and never experienced any problems. This is due to the stretcher being a bit larger in any dimension and the tube going down opening up. The times I pinched skin when putting it on or walking around dropped to nearly zero. It is also a bit more comfortable to wear because the sand clock shape allows for little bit of collapsing on the narrowest point so the stretcher adjust a bit onto who much stretch your balls can take. This of cause doesn’t compromise the effect of a ball stretcher. The balls still bounce happily when jerking off or fucking and are hold properly far away from your body when they want to come closer for shooting your load making the orgasms more intense. In fact: Because my balls are a bit on the larger side I liked the extra 15mm stretch. The more of comfort doesn’t excuse you from a proper shave. Caught pubic hair between your skin and the stretcher can create quite sever pain when moving!

For putting it on nothing has really changed to the old model so I repeat my old instructions:

  1. putting both forefinger and middle finger inside the stretcher tube,
  2. squeeze and pull it apart,
  3. push the back against the point where your perineum meets your scrotum,
  4. pull the tube over your balls,
  5. than your dick through the hole and
  6. finally adjust the tube which will probably still be a bit deformed after the squeezing.
Detail of the Bulge for a Snug Feeling

Detail of the Bulge for a Snug Feeling

Despite the new material nothing has changed when it comes to lube. Oxballs still claims the new TPR blend is fine with any form of lube. I have tried it with water-based one, silicone lube and olive oil and Vaseline and it didn’t alter the surface. So even during a sloppy, messy fist scene with lots of Crisco it will stay nice and shiny. Another property of really all Oxballs TPR blends is that they don’t take over smells. So you don’t take the smoke smell of a crowded bar or other fumes from a dirty party back home. As expected the new blend also does not conduct electricity so the Oxballs Unit X Stretch can be used for isolating between two poles in electro CBT. The longer neck even allows for new interesting kinds of play: Until I have bought the Oxballs Zap last weekend in Berlin I used to stick two Mystim Silicone Pad Electrodes into the tube in order to fry the ball’s neck. I have to admit it is a bit of a challenge to place them there but the fun is worth the effort.

So at the end the question remains: Who is the winner? For me it is the Unit X Stretch. It does all the things the Nuttsling does just as good but a little bit more comfortable and with a little bit more stretch. To be honest I personally prefer the industrial look of the Nuttsling over the sprtoy streamlined one of the Unit X Stretch but when it comes to play

Conslusion: The new most comfortable ball stretcher I own with even greater long-term potential!

Mystim Tension Lover

The Mystim Tension Lover with the Case and its Contenct

The Mystim Tension Lover with the Case and its Contenct

A couple of weeks ago I answered to your request for a novice electro box with writing a bit about the E-Stim Intro Packs. Yet I got some requests if there isn’t a box out there with two channels that isn’t too expensive and indeed there is: The Mystim Tension Lover.

It is a fairly basic yet sophisticated box. It is digital with a large display so you can adjust the programs quite accurately. There are only 7 programs and no audio interface but for a first dip into e-stim pleasures (or pain) it is quite enough. It also has a timer function if you want to leave your sub alone. A nifty feature is the locking of the keys of you want to walk around during the stimulation.

Since I was always looking for a another compact digital electro I am very much looking forward to owning this box some day and would love to review it! The box comes in a nice case with two leads and four pad electrodes and costs £119.99 and can be ordered from Uberkinky.

Construction

The foundation of this toy is a conductive silicone loop made to be put around your glans. Onto this loop an isolated pin with another tube of conductive silicone is attached which runs perpendicular through the collar that holds the loops’ ends together. On this vertical tube are three 24k gold plated spheres located with the middle one having 35mm long and 4mm thick rod attached.

The toy comes in a nice tin box along with a set of leads for attaching to a Mystim power box and two samples of their own conductive lube.

Playing with the toy

Detail of the Leads attached for Monopole Play

Detail of the Leads attached for Monopole Play

This toy is one of the few toys that enables you to make bi-polar glans play. Before I have gotten it I have often tried to attach two silicone loops to the glans or use a pad at the frenulum and a loop around the glans. But it is complicated to get both electrodes securely attached without the two touching. Through the nifty collar design of this toy this problem is solved. In order to put it onto the glans adjust the two silicone tubes until the toy sits securely on the glans and both tubes have skin contact. While the tubes are long enough to fit even extreme large dicks I found the attachment process a bit complicated: The isolated carrier for the vertical tube can’t be moved. So in order to keep it in the middle you have to adjust both ends of the horizontal loop which is a bit tricky especially when you have lube on your hands. Because of that I would always recommend attaching the leads once the toy has been adjusted.

In order to attach the box onto this electrode simply put a 2mm pin cable or adaptor into one of the open tube holes. If you want to use the toy as a monopole, choose one of the three endings, if you want to use it as a bi-pole use the vertical and one of the horizontal ending. Do not use both horizontal endings because it will short-circuit your box by doing so will damage it!

Detail of how the Toy can be Transformed by moving the Gold Plated Spheres

Detail of the Collar holding and seperating the two Silicone Tubes

Mystim produces three versions of this toy: The Pure Pete with just the two silicone loops, the Pearly Pete with three gold plated spheres and the Plunging Pet which I will review here. I decided to buy the Plunging Pete because it is all the three versions in one. If you pull the horizontal silicone tube out of the collar you can remove the there attachments in order to create the Pure Pete. Turn the sphere with the rod around and you have the Pearly Pete.

I have to admit it takes a bit of getting to know this toy in order to create the wide array of sensations that it can create with the right power box. The most important part of this toy are the gold plated spheres resp. the rod. Through the material they are highly conductive and due to the round shape the contact area is quite small so even with little power is enough to create a noticeable effect. It is one of the few toys I know that can create a non-painful tickling sensation.

Detail of the Collar holding and seperating the two Silicone Tubes

Detail of the Collar holding and seperating the two Silicone Tubes

The art of mastering this toy is knowing there to put the spheres. When you want to milk someone I would recommend only placing one sphere on the frenulum. In order to make this sensation a little bit more torture like you can put the rod into the urethral. Another possibility is to put two spheres on the horizontal loop and one on the vertical for a really agonizing effect. When you remove all spheres you can adjust it so tightly that it can be comfortably worn for an entire day without falling off making it ideal for remote control commando e-stim play in public. For that purpose and if you use the toy only on one sub I would recommend shortening the silicone tubes because in order to fit even XXL dicks they are quite long.

As always when I talk about conductive silicone toys here the reminder NOT to use silicone lube when playing with this toy. Depending on the brand it is more or less isolating and it will dissolve your toy! Cleaning this toy is not different than any other toy: Use a mild detergent in warm water, let it dry and disinfect it. Since the rod is supposed to be inserted into the urethral be sure to disinfect it thoroughly after and right before play in order to avoid nasty infections.

Conclusion: Very well designed and versatile yet a bit tricky to use glans toy.

Uberkinky Rounded Handle Leather Flogger

Vendor: Uberkinky

The guys from Uberkinky send me this flogger from their flogger collection to review and I took it as a welcomed invitation to get some decent flogging action again after a stressful semester.

Construction

The first thing you notice when you unpack this toy is the rich smell of leather. It comes for its 24 tails which are about 55cm long and are angle cut at the end. They are made out of two-tone calf leather. The bottom is made out of soft red suede while the top is a little bit harder black calf hide which for my taste is a bit over-dressed. But this is just a personal taste: If you like a bit more sting let it stay this way. If you enjoy a bit more natural and softer touch just carefully (!!!) use some leather oil on the surface of the tails.

Detail of the Two Color Tails with Angle Cut

Detail of the Two Color Tails with Angle Cut

The tails are attached to the handle by a classical woven leather knot. The handle is made out of stainless steel and is 17cm long from which 12cm are a simple round bar and the last 5cm are an a bit elaborated round tip. Onto this tip a leather loop is riveted.

Playing with it

When I first used this flogger in a scene I was surprised how well it performed for the price: The tails fly really well and due to all the tails having the same length you can hit precisely. With the medium weight this flogger is quite versatile. From a good sting through the angle cut tail ends to some decent thud this flogger covers a good range of sensation. If you practice a bit (and maybe consult in advance Uberkinky’s Beginner’s Guide to Flogging) you can have an entire scene from warm-up to an agonizing finally with this flogger. The leather is hard enough to leave some very subtle welts that fade within a few hours the longest and colors the sub’s back quite well.

Detail of the Rivet that Attached the Loop to the Handle

Detail of the Rivet that Attached the Loop to the Handle

Such a scene with just this flogger is also possible because it is very well balanced despite the heavy stainless steel. All test tops theoretically flogged extensively and continuously with this toy without tiring out their wrist. Practically what almost ruins this toy for an extensive flogging scene is the way the loop is attached to the handle. Due to the loop being a bit small and inflexible when you put the loop around the wrist and grip the handle bar it limits the movement of your wrist which makes precise flogging very difficult. Another common way of holding the flogger is putting the tip at the end of the handle between either between forefinger and middle finger. The huge rivet and thick leather strap of the loop makes this position uncomfortable. At the moment I am looking at a method to get rid of the rivet and just attach a leather loop around the base of the tip. Because otherwise this flogger is awesome value for money.

Detail of the Knot

Detail of the Knot

Besides the pain inducing aspect this flogger has also some sensual qualities. Once the sub’s back is nicely warmed and red from the flogging just let the cool steel tip of the flogger wander over the lightly bruised skin to make the sub shiver. This effect can be enhanced if you cool the tip in advance a bit with an ice cube. For an even lighter scene let the sub lay down onto his belly, blindfold him and just let the tips of the tails lightly travel over his back.

Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas

An Example of the Numerous Drub Skin Motives

An Example of the Numerous Drub Skin Motives

It is just one week till Valentine’s Day and maybe there is a special kinky someone you want to show that he is REALLY special to you. This could be a Master, Sir or Top you want to give a little tribute for his time and patience or you might be a dominant yourself and have a sub who deserves a little reward. Or you just want to send a little treat to your kinky friends.

The most simple thing is sending your valentine a kinky card from Drubskin. You can either go directly to his website and order 5 high quality post cards with different motives for $20 or go to his Society6 store where you can get some of his motives as stationery cards (and a lot of other cool smut which are also great valentine’s gifts).

No valentine’s gift would be complete without some candy. Depending on what your valentine is into you can either get him a 5 piece assortment of chocolate anuses from Edible Anus for $38.95 or go a bag of naked gummi bear body builders from the Bärentreff for 3.50€ für 500g.

HML Leahter Pillow Cases

HML Leahter Pillow Cases

A really useful  gift is playroom decoration. Depending on your fetish you can either get leather pillow covers from HML in Bremen or latex covers from Demask in Dortmund. They come in a number of varieties also one side cloth, the other side latex so you can even discreetly kink up your living room.

The Map of Human Sexuality

The Map of Human Sexuality

If your playroom walls are a bit barren or you need are sometimes overwhelmed with ALL the play possibilities in your dungeon that you need some help, I recommend getting these two posters. The first one if the map of human sexuality which you can buy at Franklin Veaux’s store for $19.95 with an added little agenda at the bottom. If you are a sub simply place a pin at the stuff that you like, another one at the stuff that you want to try out and maybe a third one with your hard limits.

Uberkinky Periodic Table of Kink

Uberkinky Periodic Table of Kink

A different approach took Uberkinky: They created a periodic table of a large number of fetishes, playes, etc. and it costs £9.99. Due to having structured all terms this is probably a good poster for getting newbies into talking about and exploring their kinks.

While I already own the map of human sexuality, I still need to get the Uberkinky periodic table (just in case you are looking for a gift for my birthday next month;)). Speaking of gifts: Uberkinky currently has a give away for winning a £50 gift card to their store so if you bought the map you have another £40 to spend on toys if you win. I still hope that I win because than I can get myself the Oxballs Zap with 2 4mm electrodes I have been drooling about for a year or so.

Why I haven’t reviewed products from Sinvention, Fetters or Regulation yet

In the last couple of month I have been getting quite some messages asking me why I feature only products from a limited selection of manufacturers (most of my toys comes from Mr S, Mister B, SlingKing and McHurt) and thus why I don’t review products from this manufacturer or why I have ignored that one for my desiderate section (Which has gotten a bit neglected). There are a number of reasons out there and because they partly play a role why today’s Christmas gift tip nearly came without pictures I decided to elaborate them:

  1.  Toy Selection Pattern
Against widely spread believes I buy most of my toys myself. I am thankful to Mister B, HML and UberKink who sometimes provide me with toys to review but the majority of my toys from my own money. When it comes to getting a new toy I am fantasy driving. Most of the time I have a specific scene or sensation in mind I want to create and for which I am lacking the right “tool”. So if I have gotten a toy for a specific sensation it is unlikely I am going to by one from another manufacturer just to compare them. Also the collection reflects my personal play style and my fantasies and fears.
  2. Money
This leads to the next issue: Money. I am still a student currently without a job so my toy budget is rather limited. Next to toy categories I am currently not covering at all – like hoods or breath play – especially when it comes to bondage and impact toys I know that there slight variations of toys I already own out there which for my intention of having just the right toy for the right sensation at hand (or just for the convenience of having a second or third restraint set) would be great to have. But with my limited budget I simply can’t afford the luxury to have a deep AND wide selection of toys. So for the moment I am going for wide in the field that interests me and neglect the rest. And even with stuff that has become interesting lately like some hoods they simply are out of my budget for the moment.
  3. Shopping Style
Due to the two above factors my purchasing process is rather sophisticated: When I have a fantasy I start looking at websites and from what I know of material and design properties choose a relevance set of toys that might deliver the desired sensation and fit my budget. Once the relevance set is done I go out and take a look at the toys I consider and try them out; I rarely purchase toys online. This is of cause difficult with stores being based in London, Atlanta or Canada.
  4. Review Process
I have been getting messages asking why I don’t write about toys that have been used on me in scenes. When I gather notes for a review I am not going under in the scene. I am focusing on how the toy performs, how the sensation alters when used differently, etc. As much as I enjoy the reviewing scenes they are not as emotionally intense as normal ones and usually don’t get the top what he wants from me as a sub. So I stage “review” scenes where I interview the tops and subs afterwards. Of cause I do have an opinion on a toy used on me after a scene. For example I certainly can say something about the Padded Locking restraints from Mr S (I like them a lot) but that opinion is too indifferent for a review. So even though I have experienced toys from Sinvenstion, Fetters and Regulation (these are the three manufacturer I get the most questions about reviews for) I can’t say more than “I liked this and disliked that in that specific scene.”
  5. Copyright Issues
This isn’t an issue for reviews but for desiderates. For the desiderate section I am posting pictures from the manufacturer/ vendor on my website and I have to obtain the right to do so from the current copyright holder! In the last two years I have approached over three dozen web shops and manufacturer several times and only got the permission from a handful to use their material. Most of them didn’t answer at all even so I stopped bothering them.
Please note that some of the manufacturers named here have given me the permission to use their material for my website.

All of these factors can of cause lead to the impression that I am favoring certain manufacturers. This is partly true and as much I love the ones I am currently featuring I would much rather present a broader spectrum of toys and manufacturers to the community. So in the meantime while I am trying to win the lottery and fill my dream dungeon with all the dream toys, if you want to see a specific toy reviewed or just want to support my side by sending me toys, here is a list of toys that I am interested in but are for various reasons not on my purchasing list:

Sinvenstion – Arm Immobilizer Splints

Fetters – Calf to Thigh Restraint

Regulation – Leather Bag Hood

Regulation – Chest Binder

Mister B – Closed Leather Face Mask

The Oxballs Powerballs

The Oxballs Ultraballs

Ever since I set up this website I have been getting request to review cockrings. I always refused due to a simple reason: I didn’t know which criteria to use in order to write a good review. Finding the right cockring is a very difficult task (I might actually write an article on that one) and thus it would be even more subjective then the other reviews. So I got a bit excited when the guys from Regulation asked me if I would review a “universal” cockring from Oxballs for them. Always interested in new and exciting toys, I gladly accepted the challenge.

The reviewing process was surprisingly the longest and most intense of any toys I have tested so far. The Oxballs Ultraballs was worn by friends with big and small dicks and balls, has been continuously worn for over two days so a lot of different experience flow into this review.

Construction

The cockring is made out of TPR (thermoplastic rubber) which means that is it quite stretchy and will probably outlast most cheap rubber cockrings if you don’t continuously wear it as a bracelet. Another nice feature of the TPR is that you can use nearly every form of lube even silicone based.

¾ of the ring shape are a simple barrel form ring with 12mm diameter. On top there is a bold, raised “Oxballs” logo which is nice if you want to

show the guy sucking you off that you buy quality toys. The rest of the cockring is featuring two balls with approx. 20mm and between them a flat oval piece.

Playing with it

Putting this cockring on is fairly easy and can be done even with a hard dick which is a great feature when you need some extra support when you are already hard.

The Oxballs Ultraballs can be worn in two ways.

1. Balls facing down:

The balls supporting either your ball or restriciting blood flow to and from the shaft

The balls supporting either your ball or restriciting blood flow to and from the shaft

In this position the cockring’s two balls support your balls with a little pushup effect ant the oval piece lightly presses against the exterior part of your prostate. I prefer this way of wearing the Powerballs for everyday your. There is a light yet not distracting pressure in your groin which at least made me sometimes smile involuntarily due to the hidden kinkiness. When you walk and your balls have enough space to move around in your pants they wiggle a bit more and especially when you are climbing stairs you can feel a light pressure on the exterior of your prostate. The drawback of this way of wearing the Ultraballs is that – depending on the package your have – the pressure is quite low so the effect is not like wearing a “really” cocking. For that effect you have to wear it in way #2…

2. Balls facing up:

When you wear the Ultraballs upside down the two balls put pressure on the two major veins transporting blood away from your dick so the effect is like a “classic” cockring. The oval section is furthermore applying pressure to the cavernous body so your dick is a bit more upright. The intensity of these effects depends how thick your dick gets but it was noticeably and effective even on small dicks. Of cause the pressure and blood congestion isn’t as intense as with a (too?) tight metal cockring but yet again this is personal preference.

Taking to Powerball double for a more intense sensation

Taking to Ultraball double for a more intense sensation

At Folsom Europe we pooled four of these nifty little fuckers and used them as a great adjustable ball stretcher. Depending on your balls your need at least two (if you don’t have ENOURMOUS balls) otherwise the balls easily retract through the rather large hole in the middle. Taking the cockring double would work but you need really strong hands to pull it apart and this stress put on the material will effect durability.

Besides these two possibilities, yes you can wear it as a kinky bracelet and since it is available in 8 colors the is a great chance that it will be available in your favorite hanky color.

Before I conclude a work of warning: As with all stretchy Oxballs product please handle this toy with a bit of care when stretching it in order to take it off. A friend literally got blue balls when the Ultraballs backlashed when taking them off. However this might be a desired effect.
