E-Stim Systems Remote

The E-Stim System Remote

Vendor: E-Stim Systems

In 2010 E-Stim Systems introduced the Series 1 Remote (now called Classic Remote to avoid confusion), their first remotely controlled e-stim power box which was quite the crowd pleaser. In 2020, with 10 years of technological advances, they introduced their new Remote. So let’s find out what a decade of progress has yielded.

Construction

On a first glance, not much has changed on the outside. It is still a rectangular box made out of quality, sturdy black polymer which measuring 111x68x28mm (respectively 34mm if you take the depth of the belt clip on the back into account) is slightly larger than the Classic Remote. The panel at the front side features one 3.5mm socket on the left and the power switch on the right. Behind the power switch the microphone is located. Another input method is the new motion sensor.

Detail of the LED Panel

The upper side features the same graphic grey dot design and colored logo of all “modern” E-Stim Systems power boxes like the Pebble. On top of this panel there are two LEDs: The left flashes when the box is firing, the right with the wireless logo lights up when the box receives signals from the remote. In the panel middle there is a line of seven LEDs which are dual-used. Firstly, the five center LEDS indicate which program is selected through a flash pattern (see below). Secondly, the seven LEDs are the indicator for the for the 27 power levels using different flash patterns for each LED: First flashing slow, then medium, then fast until it stays on. The box is powered by a standard 9V block battery which’s compartment is on the bottom. So if the battery runs out of power you can replace it easily and quickly during the scene.

The box is entirely controlled via a small remote control measuring 59.5x33x8.5mm, featuring a key ring at the bottom and the same graphic, modern design like the power box on top. On the top left corner there is a green LED that flashes when the remote transmits. To control the power box, there are four buttons. In the left there is a “Plus” and a “Minus” button for controlling the power level. On the right on top is the “Fire” button; at the bottom is a circular arrow. Pressing this button and the “Minus” button simultaneously triggers the program selection. You can now cycle through the programs with the “Plus” and “Minus” buttons and select it with the circular arrow button.

Detail of the Screwed Battery Compartment of the Remote Control

Out of the box, the remote control needs to be paired with the power box in a simple process: Turn the power box on and press the pairing button at the bottom of the battery compartment. Then press any button on the remote control until the right top LED on the power box flashes. Finally press any button on the remote control again to finish the pairing process. While this is more hassle than other products on the market, it ensures that the remote controlled is paired with YOUR box. This is important especially in public play spaces where multiple boxes can be present simultaneously.

Replacing the remote control’s battery is a bit of a pain in the ass because you need a very small screw driver to open the battery compartment. Even with extensive usage I did not manage to deplete the battery so I guess this will not be necessary too often.

Detail of the Remote’s Top Panel with 3.5mm Jack and Power Switch

Like all E-Stim Systems Premium Products the Remote has a lifetime warranty if you register it at their website. Again, like all of their power boxes it comes in a black carrying case lined with foam. If you cut the foam a bit on your own, there is plenty of space for some basic electrodes. Out of the box the Remote comes with a quick start guide , a battery, 4 pad electrodes and one 3.5mm jack to 2mm pin plug leads. While I can understand the choice so you can out of the box connect the box to the pad electrode it is still a bit annoying because most E-Stim Systems electrodes are laid out for 4mm banana plugs (for more detailed information of the carrying case’s content, read my unboxing).

Playing with the Remote Power Box

When you turn on the box, there is a 3 second self-test during which the seven LEDs in the middle light up after each other. If the battery is low, only the first LED flashes. The Remote always boots to no program and power level zero. So you first need to select your program and then the power level to start the stimulation.

Program Name Sensation Adjust Effect Fire Button Flashing Pattern
Fire Firing continuously at the pre-selected intensity level as long the as the “Fire” button is pressed (automatically cuts out after 30sec) Softness of sensation First and second LED
Flo Continuous output Softness of sensation Increases intensity by 4 levels Second and seventh LED
Pulse Single Pulses Speed of pulses Continuous firing First and third LED
Training Mode Minus – firing 25% output

Adjust – firing 50% output

Plus – firing 75% output

100% output Third and seventh LED
Teese Rising sensation until selected maximum power level Cycle length Increases intensity by 4 levels First and fourth LED
Torment Continuous output which changes from soft to stingy Cycle length Increases intensity by 4 levels Fourth and seventh LED
Audio Low Pattern is based on audio input (lower microphone sensitivity baseline) Microphone sensitivity 100% output First and fifth LED
Audio High Pattern is based on audio input (higher microphone sensitivity baseline) Microphone sensitivity 100% output Fifth and seventh LED
Motion Low Pattern is based on movement of the box (lower motion sensor sensitivity baseline) Motion sensor sensitivity 100% output First and sixth LED
Motion High Pattern is based on movement of the box (higher motion sensor sensitivity baseline) Motion sensor sensitivity 100% output Sixth and seventh LED

Detail of the Belt Clip

The Remote uses a digital processor to create the wave patterns. This is where you can probably see the biggest improvement over the last 10 years. While old digital boxes produced “edged” output compared to the seamless analogue ones, the Remote’s programs are smooth. That being said, the sensation can of course be mean and stingy, depending on the power level and the adjustment. While 28 power levels might not sound much, the maximum output level has significantly increased over the Classic Remote and should be enough for most e-stim players. Of course, the steps between the individual levels can be challenging. So especially when playing with a novice be cautious when you increase the sensitivity.

Detail of the Remote’s Control

The programs echo the main purpose of the box: Controlling your sub remotely. The box misses classic “pleasurable” programs like Wave or Milk mostly used on fettered subs. Instead it focuses on bringing the sub’s attention to the top or tormenting him. Like almost all build-in microphones of e-stim units it is not that great and sensitive. So if you want to use the audio feature, place the power switch directly in front of the audio source for a good and detailed input. On the other hand, the motion sensor is VERY sensitive! The devious (sadistic) mind will probably soon find many ways to create feedback loops or bring the sub in precarious situation when the belt clip is attached to a freely moving object like a harness’ d-ring.

E-Stim Systems claims the radio range of the remote control is 100m. In order to test it I took a sub to a running track on a sunny day and managed 97m range. Factors like walls (and what they are made out of), people, battery strength and even humidity will impact the range! So at large events or when sitting to far away from your playroom, consider moving closer to your sub when he does not react as expected.

In the end, all things considered – especially the functionality of the “Fire” button -, the Remote is a bit more of a sadist’s toy who want to train the sub instead of a pleasure device.

Conclusion: Remote controlled e-stim power box with programs more on the sadistic side.

E-Stim Systems Black Collection

The E-Stim System Black Collection Bi-Polar Butt Plugs

Vendor: E-Stim Systems

2 ½ years ago E-Stim System introduced their Red Collection, a more “sculptural” approach to their popular (and by me highly praised) bi-polar electrodes. While I liked the shape of the electrodes, the design with red velvet colored isolators and mirror-shine finished poles did not really appeal to the “rough” look I like in my toys and playroom. Also, the sizes were quite “Lady-like”. Naturally I was excited when they turned their Bobble into the Black Collection.

Construction

The basic design are two beads stuck onto each other. They are separated by a black plastic neck which serves as an isolator between the two poles. At the bottom the lower bead tapers into a base which has the same diameter as the beads. Around the base run three (resp. four on the XL) groves for better grip even with lubey fingers. Into the base’s bottom a 4mm hole to plug in 4mm banana plugs is drilled. The plugs are available in four sizes.

S M L XL
Diameter 42mm 50mm 54mm 60mm
Height 113mm 131mm 146mm 160mm
Diameter 1st Neck 26mm 30.5mm 34mm 37.5mm
Distance to 1st Neck 42mm 50mm 54mm 60mm
Diameter 2nd Neck 26mm 30.5mm 36.5mm 39mm
Distance to 2nd Neck 83mm 96mm 103mm 113mm
Weight 330g 520g 720g 970g

Detail of the Satin Finish

The upper bead is connected the lower part by a stainless steel screw. At its bottom there is a 4mm hole to connect the upper pole to the power box using 4mm banana plugs. To not short-circuit the e-stim box, the screw-head is isolated with a white plastic separator from the base. Around the banana plug socket these is a little hexagonal socket for easier disassembly when cleaning. This socket is highly useful because the screw is harder than the aluminum the electrode is made out off so it will dig into the material. I have older electrodes which do not have this socket and which have become almost un-screwable.

Like all premium bi-polar electrodes the Black Collection is made out of aircraft grade aluminum which is perfectly finished in E-Stim System’s satin matt finish. Since I have already gotten some reader questions about this topic I want to stress that the toys are indeed silver colored and not like in the promotion pictures black.

Playing with the Black Collection

For basic information on how the bi-polar electrodes perform and how to choose the right size, please check out one the review of other models I have published some time ago. Here I want to talk about how the interesting design produces unique sensations.

The Bi-Polar Plug Disassembled for Cleaning

What sets the Black Collection apart from all other bi-polar anal electrodes I have seen so far is that the split between the two poles is at the top instead of the bottom. So when lying down you can choose either choose between pushing it in all the way to the second neck or let the sphincter wrap around the isolator on the first neck. In this position all stimulation is focused on the sphincter, just like with the Micro. But through the larger mass and surface area the sensation is smoother.  Since the mass center unlike the other electrodes is on the outside the sensation feels… in lack of better words inverted. This is especially interesting when a wave program is used for a fucking sensation. It is still a fucking but with a new, different twist.

When sitting, standing or walking the electrode should be pushed in all the way. Especially when not sitting, the mass center outside the body will make it very likely that the electrode will fall out of the ass otherwise. Pushed in all the way, the sensation moves from the sphincter inside the body. This is a weird feeling, because the stimulation feels like a big, massive surface electrode but isn’t experienced on the skin. Again, it is hard to describe, but it adds a new sensation to the e-stim repertoire.

Detail of the 4mm Socket for the Banana Plug and the Hex Key

Especially the two largest electrodes have enough weight to develop an own movement momentum when the sub’s body moves, for example through walking or making him jump from the stimulation inside him. Depending on the rectum’s physiology the electrode will start to tumble, adding a physical sensation to the fact that electro stimulation flashes up on different areas on the bowel mucosa. Depending on the sub’s anatomy, the upper bead can lay on top of the prostate. So just like when a Classic hits the prostate, only using the upper pole in combination with a pad electrode attached to the perineum above the prostate is an interesting way of tormenting this sensible body part. Some subs can even be trained to get milked that way.

Finally, let’s take a look o how the Black Collection’s plugs perform just as anal toys without added e-stim. While they are fun to ride for more experienced anal players, they are good for training new fistees. Slowly fucking the hole with the two beads will teach the hole to open up and close again, even when the entering object is relatively dull. The beads are also perfectly designed to stimulate the prostate; one testee even developed a technique to how to thrust and twist the plugs just right to prostate-milk his chastity sub.

Conclusion: Uniquely designed high quality bi-polar anal electrode.

E-Stim Systems Pebble

The E-Stim Systems Pebble Power Box

Vendor: E-Stim Systems

After I reviewed the E-Stim Systems Helix in this year’s E-Stim Special in the spring, I literally got inundated with questions regarding the Pebble. The folks at E-Stim Systems were kind enough to provide me with a review sample so here are my testee panel’s condensed thoughts and experiences with the Pebble.

Construction

The Pebbles design is quite distinct for an e-stim power box: With its convex sides it has an almost hand axe like shape which rests really well in the top’s hand. The back, the top and the bottom are made out of the same high quality, sturdy black polymer all E-Stim Systems’ power boxes are made out of. The convex sides are covered in a rubberized soft-touch material for even better grip. The box is 117mm long, 24mm high and measures 78mm at the widest point. The panel at the front side features two 3.5mm sockets and the power switch in the middle. Behind the power switch the microphone is located.

The upper part of the control panel on top of the box is also symmetrically laid out. On the left and on the right are the rotary controls for controlling the intensity of the two channels. Above them is a blue LED which is on when the channel fires. Between the two intensity controls is the “Adjust” rotary control for manipulating the program’s sensation. Below these controls on the left side are two soft-touch buttons labeled with arrows up and down. They are for the program selection. On the right side next to the buttons are the 9 programs names with a blue LED next to them which flashes in a unique pattern for each program (see below).

The E-Stim Systems Pebble with the Entire Box Content

The box is powered by a standard 9V block battery which’s compartment is on the bottom. So if the battery runs out of power you can replace it easily and quickly during the scene.

Like all E-Stim Systems Premium Products the Pebbles has a lifetime warranty. It comes like all power boxes in a black carrying case lined with foam. If you cut the foam a bit on your own, there is plenty of space for some basic electrodes. Out of the box the Pebble comes with a detailed manual, a battery, 4 pad electrodes and two 3.5mm jack to 2mm pin plug leads. While I can understand the choice so you can out of the box connect the box to the pad electrode it is still a bit annoying because most E-Stim Systems electrodes are laid out for 4mm banana plugs (for more detailed information of the carrying case’s content, read my unboxing).

Playing with the Pebble Power Box

After turning the box on there is a 4se self-test during which the program LEDs flash after each other from the bottom to the top. Then the LEDs go on according the current battery status. If only half the LEDs are on, you should consider replacing the battery. The Pebble will only start firing a channel when a program is selected by pressing the arrow buttons. After the selection it takes between 2 and 4 seconds until the program is activated. Once the program is activated the 9 LEDs flash in a unique pattern. This is a bit annoying because you have to memorize which pattern is associated with which program in order to figure out which is currently active.

Program Name Sensation Adjust Effect Flashing Pattern
Pulse Single pulses simultaneously on both channels Speed of pulses Single LED, moving upwards in the speed of the pulses
Flo Wave-Form Making the wave’s sensation stingier Single LED moving up and down
Split Wave-form on left channel, pulse on right channel Speed of pulses on right channel Two LEDs converging towards the middle, a step after the bottom one blinked
Bounce A pulse alternating between left and right channel Alternation speed One LED converging alternating towards the middle and back
Audio Channels fire corresponding to audio input Microphone sensitivity Outgoing from the middle LED the LEDs light up corresponding to the sound’s intensity like an equalizer display
Milk Pulses which frequency first increases and then decreases again Cycle length Two LEDs converging towards the middle and going back corresponding to the pulses’ speed
Squeeze Pulses which increase in speed until max and start again Cycle length Two LEDs converging towards the middle corresponding to the pulses’ speed
Tease Continuous output which changes from soft to stingy and back Cycle length Two LEDs moving from the middle to both ends and start over
Torment Continuous output which changes from soft to stingy and starts again Cycle length Two LEDs converge towards the middle, pause the and move outward again

Detail of the Front Side Panel and the Soft-Touch Grip sections on the Side

Like the Helix the Pebble is an analogue box so the basic feel is very smooth but depending on the program can become quite stingy. Especially for beginners I recommend staying at the smoother side of the possible sensations because the sting of cheap e-stim units drives most rookies away. Still the Pebble packs enough punch for experienced players. The programs range from the basic (Flo and Pulse) to elaborate ones (Tease & Torment) which leave enough room to explore different play scenarios even for more experienced e-stim doms.

Like almost all build-in microphones of e-stim units it is not that great and sensitive. But the Pebble – unlike its big brother – doesn’t have a microphone line-in. So if you want to use the audio feature, place the power switch directly in front of the audio source for a good and detailed input.

Example of the Flashing Patterns indicating the Selected Program

So, compared to the Helix, where does the Pebble stand? My honest opinion is, there actually is no real reason to buy the Helix when the Pebble is available. With 5 more programs and dual output for just £40 more, the Pebble offers a better value for the money in my opinion. However, if you know that you only like stimulation in one place, like to threat your sub with the “Fire” button usage or are looking for more control over the program the Helix is the box for you. But from my experience, having talked with dozens of people venturing into e-stim, most people enjoy the possibilities of dual channel stimulation. So even if you are starting out in e-stim, I would recommend the Pebble and if you want to dive even deeper into this form of play and want the features described above, buy the Helix as your second box.

Conclusion: Basic yet versatile beginner’s power box with good value for money.

ToyTortures Top 10 Toys: E-Stim System Electrodes

The Electrode Disassambled into its Five Parts

It’s only the third episode of this miniseries and I am already breaking its rules: Today I am not going to talk about one but two toys: The E-Stim System Medium Classic bipolar insertable electrode and their conductive rubber loops.

As its name already tells this bipolar anal (or for the few female readers vaginal) electrode is the most classic of E-Stim System’s premium insertable range. All electrodes from this collection share the same great qualities: They are well built out of premium materials, easy to clean, come with a lifetime warranty and through their layout can create the sensation of getting fucked with a wave-shape program. I like these electrodes so much that I actually own five of them but I like the Classic best. With its domed head and diameter of only 25mm inserting it is easy. The Medium has the perfect length for me and actually most of my friends so when sitting down on it the electrode presses against the prostate. So in addition to the e-stim stimulation there is the physical stimulation. The e-stim sensation can even be enhanced when using the Classic’s head as a monopole and a pad electrode on the taint as the counter pole so the currency zapps right through the prostate.

A Pair of E-Stim System Cock Loops

On several occasions I called conductive rubber loops THE e-stim electrode. Small, easy to use and to clean it is a good example how a simple toy can be one of the best. Put one loop around the base of the dick, the other around the balls and later the currency will squeeze the cum out of the ball when jerking off. Put one of them below the glans and with some training and the right program you can learn to cum hands free. For a real anal novice one can work as an anal monopole, the loops can be used for sensation play. Once used these loops stimulate creativity and the play instinct and that is what a good toy should do.

The E-Stim System Medium Classic cost £47. I reviewed the premium insertable several times so if you want to learn more about them here are the reviews of the Classic, Micro and Magnum, the Torpedo’s review and in the latest I talked about their new satin surface finish on the Stuffer. The conductive rubber loops cost £29 per pair and you can learn all about them in my in-depth review. Interested in e-stim play in general? Read my E-Stim 101!

E-Stim Systems ElectroEgg

The E-Stim Systems ElectroEgg Size Large

Vendor: E-Stim Systems

Construction

The E-Stim Systems ElectroEgg is a bi-polar e-stim toy. Both poles are very short cylinders with domed ends made out of mirror-polished aircraft grade aluminum. They are separated by a polymer divider in the middle which color-codes the size. On one end there is a 130cm long cable with a 3.5mm audio jack at the end. The cable is designed for pull up to 12kg.

The ElectroEgg comes in three sizes.

Size Diameter Length Weight Divider Color
Small 30mm 41mm 70g Magenta
Medium 38mm 60mm 153g Red
Large 50mm 73mm 301g Black

Like all E-Stim Systems premium anal electrodes it comes with a lifetime warranty.

Playing with the ElectroEgg

Getting play ready is easy: Lube up the ElectroEgg all around with water based (conductive) lube and gently push it against the sphincter until it opens up and swallows the electrode. As always when it comes to metal anal toys choose a size which is smaller than the diameter you can take with vinyl or silicone toys because the metal will not give in. Another important piece of advice is that you must not put a condom over the egg. Some tops put condoms over their anal toys when they use it on multiple partners but the latex will prevent conductivity. Being made out of metal and high quality polymer when cleaned properly there is no chance of a STD transmission.

Detail of the Power Cable and the 3.5mm audio jack

The ElectroEgg is the only bi-polar electrode I know off which gets inserted completely into the ass and thus stimulated the colon instead of the anus. The colon is an intriguing spot to apply stimulation because it has a very high density of nerve endings as well as muscles. The sensation the ElectroEgg creates of cause depend on the program of the power box but it’s the only anal electrode I have come across that ever created a dragging sensation or triggered muscles movements and sensations well into the thighs. Especially with the nimble small ElectroEgg combining (deep) fisting with e-stim is a unique sensation that will blow your mind! Since unexpected muscle reflexes can be triggered by e-stim the top should be prepared for the fisting to be a bit different than he is used to.

Speaking of size and weight: The ElectroEgg is also fun without e-stim in everyday situations. Putting it inside the colon and going for a walk or working out will cause the more or less heavy metal object to move inside the colon which triggers the never endings or stimulates the prostate. One of the testing tops made his sub perform jumping jacks… Of cause if you combine the electrode with a remote controlled power box this even adds to the fun…

The ElectroEgg Disassamble for Cleaning

When the top is careful with the cable and wears an isolating glove the ElectroEgg can also be used as a skin electrode by being rolled over the skin. The effect is like using a bi-polar pinwheel but through the larger mass and contact area the sensations are way smoother.

As written above E-Stim Systems says that the cable can withstand pull up to 12kg. However I would not recommend to pull it out of the ass alone but just use light pulling as support when pressing it out. A sphincter can hold onto things with way greater power than 12kg so there is a chance you can damage the cable if you just pull.

Once outside you can screw both halves apart was them in hot soapy water, let them dry properly and finally spray your preferred sanitizer on it before screwing them together again.

Conclusion: One of a kind bi-polar electrode which creates unknown stimulation.

E-Stim Systems Helix

Vendor: E-Stim Systems

The E-Stim System Helix

I often get asked “Which is a good and safe e-stim box to start with?” For years E-Stim Systems Series 1 was the most inexpensive of the premium boxes. In March this year they launched the Helix as a replacement. I was very glad when they sent me a review sample for the E-Stim Special to finally be able to bring you a review on the lower end of the price range.

Construction

The Helix measures measures 111x67x28mm and thus is still one of the more compact boxes available. The case is made out of a high quality, sturdy black polymer. On the front of the box is the power switch and the output socket for 3.5mm jack.

The top of the box is the control panel. On left there is a small blue LED which fleshes when the box fires. Below are three rotary controls for the intensity level of the stimulation, one to alter the feel and one to alter the speed of the stimulation. Below the controls there are five LEDs which indicate the selected program. Below them there are two buttons: The one on the left is called “Fire”. When you press it in Fire mode an intensity burst is fired. When holding the button down while turning the box on the output level increases significantly. The right button is for shuffling through the programs.

The box is powered by a standard 9V block battery which’s compartment is on the bottom. So if the battery runs out of power you can replace it easily and quickly during the scene.

Detail of the Power Button, the Output Socket and the Three Controls

The Helix comes in a high quality and nifty nice black carrying case along with a detailed manual, a lead, four pad electrodes and a battery (For detailed pictures take a look at my unboxing). As all the E-Stim Systems Premium Products the Helix comes with a lifetime warranty.

Playing with the Helix Power Box

To get the Helix play ready push the power button and wait for the short self test which also checks the battery. If less than half the LEDs flash you should replace the battery. Connect the lead to an electrode and the box and attach the electrodes to the sub. Then select your desired mode. The Helix will always start up to the pulse mode. Finally slowly start turning the level control clockwise until the sub starts to feel something. Being an analogue box you can very finely control the box with the rotary controls.

Program Name Sensation Feel Alteration Speed Alteration
Pulse Sensation pulses Makes the pulses’ sensation sharper Frequency of the pulses
Flo Continuous output Makes the sensation sharper No effect
Fire Continuous output when the fire button is pressed Makes the sensation sharper No effect
Milk Pulse waves with increasing and decreasing speed Makes the sensation sharper Wave length control
Tease Random sensation Range and amount of pattern change

Since the Helix is an analogue box the sensation is silky smooth – if you don’t adjust the level and feel to be otherwise. This makes this box good for beginners because the sharp and almost excruciating sensation of cheaper box drive many people away from e-stim. The five programs cover the basic range of possible e-stim sensations from a light and arousing tingling over milking to extremely challenging pain. And despite the relatively price point the Helix produces enough output to be interesting to experience players, especially in the high intensity mode.

Detail of the Battery Compartment

It is only in the features you realize that it is a beginner’s box: It only has one output channel and not extra inputs like a microphone or motion sensor. But if you just want to get a first glimpse into e-stim or need an additional box with a fire button to control your sub, this box offers great value for an attractive price.

While the pad electrodes of the basic set are good for first dip into e-stim, I recommend investing the £10 more for the Helix Blue which comes with a set of conductive rubber loops (which I consider an e-stim essential as you can read here).

Conclusion: Basic yet versatile beginner’s power box with good value for money.

E-Stim Systems Helix Unboxing

One of the most commonly asked questions when it comes to E-Stim is: Which box to start out with? Naturally I was excited when E-Stim Systems sent me their new entry level power box to review in the E-Stim special. The review will follow tomorrow, today is just a quick overview what you get when buying the box.

The Helix comes in a sturdy, black carrying case which measures 270x210x75mm.

Carrying Case of the E-Stim Systems Helix

Inside it is padded with foam which is cut to safely house the power box and accessories. If you expand on the amount of electrodes but still want to use the nifty carrying case I recommend taking the foam out and replacing it with cubed foam which you can easily customize.

The most prominent item in the box is obviously the Helix power box itself. The easy to use box has a power button, a fire button and three rotary controls for intensity, altering the sensation and the speed of the stimulation. There also is an LED which fires when sensations are induced and an indicator which one of the five programs is selected. Like all their premium products the Helix comes with a lifetime warrenty.

The E-Stim Systems Helix

There is one lead with 3.5mm plug to 2mm pin connector for…

… connecting the Helix with the four self-adhesive conductive pads which come with the box.

The box is powered by a standard 9V block battery, one of which comes with the box for instantaneous fun with the pads right when you get it.

Obviously the box comes with a manual – which embarrassingly I have misplaced. It explains the functions and the five programs very well. For a first sneak peek into the box’s potential you can download it here.

The here shown most basic package of the Helix costs £109 but there is also the Blue Pack which comes with a pair of conductive rubber loops for £119 or the Red Pack with one of their infamous bipolar Eggs for £129.

E-Stim Systems Stuffer

Vendor: E-Stim Systems

The E-Stim Systems Stuffer Bipolar Anal Electrode

The E-Stim Systems Premium Bi-Polar Anal Electrodes have been getting rave reviews from me since I started reviewing them. So when they asked if I wanted to take a look at their new surface treatment I was al for it – and discovered another major improvement.

Construction

With the basic from like a butt plug the Stuffer is shaped like any other toy from the E-Stim Systems Torpedo Range. The head has a diameter of 6.25mm and a length of 9cm. It takes 3cm from the tip to reach the maximum diameter so this plug is rather dull. The neck has a diameter of 38mm and is 22mm. Both the head and base which is 40mm long taper towards the neck for a more comfortable fit. For easier grip while playing the base features four grooves. With an overall length of 152mm you get a lot of metal which results into a total weight if 955g.

The material and production quality it top notch! The screw connecting the top and the bottom is stainless steel and the plastic is quite sturdy. The piece de resistance is the aircraft grade aluminum the head and the base is made out of. In March E-Stim Systems introduced a new surface treatment which give their anal electrodes a more even, satin like matt finish which liooks great.

Right: E-Stim Systems Stuffer with the New Finish

E-Stim Systems so convinced by their build quality that they give a lifelong warranty and having been using these kind of electrodes extensively for almost 5  years I have to agree. Even the plastic hasn’t aged. Yet there is a drop of bitterness with the combination of the aluminum head and the stainless steel screw: Since the screw is harder than the material the thread is cut into, if you tighten the screw too tight too often the thread will get a bit dull. With my old electrodes this made unscrewing both parts a bit difficult. But E-Stim Systems fitted the Stuffer with a hexagon socket at the bottom of the screw so you can now use a hex key for easier unscrewing.

Speaking of screw and thread, for easy cleaning this toy is made out of five individual pieces: Through the base a hole is drilled. Into this hole a plastic insulator is put into which the screw is put. Onto this screw you put another piece of plastic which forms the neck. On top of this you screw the head of the electrode. Into the base and the connecting threat holes for 4mm banana plugs are drilled. The holes are far enough apart for using low profile plugs so you can comfortably sit on this plug.

Another neat thing is that the toy comes in a nifty and stylish black box that can be adjusted length-wise. So if you don’t store your e-stim toys in them but display them proudly you can store other stuff like clamps in there. I use one of the larger boxes for band-aids and the a thinner one for sounds.

Playing with the Stuffer

Since nothing has changed in the way the Premium Bi-Polar Electrode performs this section is a copy and paste from older reviews of this toy.

First a piece of advice on how to read this section: I will only discuss how the physical properties influence the sensation. The sensation itself depends very much on your e-stim box and the program you select.

Detail of the Hexagonal Socket for Easier Disassembly

When choosing the right electrode before play there are three important things to keep in mind:

  • The Material: Unlike other soft materials like vinyl or silicone most anal toys are made out off aluminum will not yield! So if you can barely fit a 64mm vinyl plug into your ass taking the Stuffer will at least take some training, especially because the dull top makes it hard for the ass to open up. If you sphincter isn’t exceptionally well trained (I am talking taking a fist without much pre-stretching) I highly recommend pre-stretching with softer toys which have steeper slopes. But you will get rewarded with a REALLY stuffed feeling. Especially when walking around that if you walk around and your hole gets loose there is a chance of almost 1kg of metal hitting the floor which isn’t good news for tiles or hardwood floores…
  • The Handling: A lot of people put condoms over their anal toys when switching partners. The condom’s latex layer will at best alter the way the current flows thus might produce unwanted effects, at worst no current will flow at all. But because the metal is easily cleaned and disinfected this isn’t a big issue if you clean your toy thoroughly after using it on one partner. The best way of cleaning this toy is to disassemble it, put it into hot water with a bit of detergent added to it. Scrub with a soft brush, rinse the water off and let the parts dry. Once they are, spray your preferred sanitizer on them and assemble them again once dried.
  • The Lubrication: When it comes to lube I would always recommend water-based lube. The glycerin in the lube will help the current flow from the metal to the skin. A thick layer of silicone lube can produced unwanted effects.
  • There are specialized electro lubes out there but in my opinion they are overrated. For my sessions I use Swiss Navy water based lube. It keeps it gliding properties for a long period of time and transmits current very well.

The E-Stim Systems Stuffer Disassembled for Easy Cleaning

When it comes to e-stim a good rule of thumb when it comes to the sensation is !the larger the mass and contact area of the electrode the smoother the sensation”. Since this is the heaviest and larges anal bi-pole I own the sensation was as expected silky smooth. But unlike the other electrodes the mass difference between the base and the head is so large that the sensation is nearly only felt at the base. It was a weird, hard to describe feeling putting the stroke program on. Usually this created a fucking sensation. This time… it was not bad just different than expected.

Of cause you can also use the electrode also as a monopole. Just plug one banana plug into the anal electrode and the other one onto another electrode, a pin wheel or a rubber loop for example.

Conclusion: High quality bi-polar anal electrode for real ass pigs.

E-Stim System Torpedo Large

The E-Stim System Torpedo Lage

The E-Stim System Torpedo Lage

I have reviewed three other electrodes of the premium collection from E-Stim system 1 ½ years ago. When I was in Munich three weeks ago I stumbled about this electrode and got a good deal on it so I’ve bought it. But since there are some important difference to the electrodes I have reviewed the last time and since anal plugs are an important e-stim toy I am writing another review about this great toy.

Construction

In the last year they have changed nothing on the great build quality: The head and base are made out of aluminum, the screw connecting the top and the bottom is stainless steel and the plastic is quite sturdy. They are so convinced by their build quality that they give you a live long quality and having been using these kind of electrodes extensively for over 2 years I have to agree. Even the plastic hasn’t aged yet I there is a drop of bitterness with the combination of the aluminum head and the stainless steel screw: Since the screw is harder than the material the thread is cut into, if you tighten the screw too tight too often the thread will get a bit dull. But I guess if you send the electrode in, the thread can be easily cut again.

Speaking of screw and thread, for easy cleaning this toy is made out of five individual pieces: Through the base a hole is drilled. Into this hole a plastic insulator is put through which a screw is put. Onto this screw you put another piece of plastic which forms the neck and ontop you screw the head of the electrode. The Electrode Disassambled into its Five Parts

The Electrode Disassambled into its Five Parts

Both head and base had a diameter of 5cm, the neck with 2.5cm is only half that thick. The total length of the toy is 13.5cm with an insertable length about 10cm. The electrode weighs 555g.

The stainless steel surfaces comes in a standard brushed finish which gives it a very sleek, modern and sleek appearance. When you order the electrodes directly from E-Stim’s website you can also order all electrodes in a polished version for a 10% premium. It is hard for me to recommend a surface treatment: As a jeweler sales assistant I know that a polished surface won’t show scratches as easily as a brushed one (If you are interested to know why, send me an e-mail), but personally I prefer the look of the brushed stainless steel. And if you are not ordering your toys directly from their website you will most likely only have the option of getting the brushed finishes.

Another neat thing is that the toy comes in a nifty and stylish black box that can be adjusted length-wise. So if you don’t store your e-stim toys in them but display them proudly you can store other stuff like clamps in there. I use one of the larger boxes for band-aids and a friend of mine a thinner one for sounds.

Playing with the toy

The first part of this section is a slightly enhanced copy and paste from the old review because I have little to add to this.

First an advice how to read this section: I will only discuss how the physical properties influence the sensation. The sensation itself depends very much on your e-stim box and the program you select.

When choosing the right electrode before play there are three important things to keep in mind:

  1. The Material: Unlike other soft materials like vinyl or silicone most anal toys are made out off stainless steel will not yield! So if you can barely fit a 38mm vinyl plug into your ass taking the Magnum Medium for example will at least take some training.
  2. The Handling: A lot of people put condoms over their anal toys when switching partners. Scrub the parts with a soft brush, rinse the water off and let the parts dry. Once they are, spray your favorite disinfection spray on them and assamble them again once dried.
  3. The Lubrication: When it comes to lube I would always recommend water-based lube. The glycerin in the lube will help the current flow from the metal to the skin. A thick layer of silicone lube can produced unwanted effect.
There are specialized electro lubes out there but in my opinion they are overrated. For my sessions I use Swiss Navy water based lube. It keeps it gliding properties for a long period of time and transmits current very well.

As written here the larger the mass and contact area of the electrode the smoother the sensation. Since this is the heaviest and larges anal bi-pole I own as expected the sensation was silky smooth. But unlike the other electrodes the mass difference between the base and the head is so large that the sensation is nearly only felt at the base. It was a weird, hard to describe feeling putting the stroke program on. Usually this created a fucking sensation. This time… it was not bad just different than expacted.

The Black Packaging the Toy comes in

The Black Packaging the Toy comes in

Due to the size of this plug and the fact that metal doesn’t give in unlike most other material used for making anal toys I recommend this toy only to people with well-trained holes. Since the head is dull on top this electrode won’t enter as easily as a Magnum, yet the solid connection between base and head the toy can be pushed in quite easily. Being over half a kilogram heavy, keep in mind that gravity has quite some grip on this toy when walking around. So if your ass is trained too well there is some danger for your precious hardwood floor. But the size and weight makes this toy also interesting just as an anal toy without any stimulation. There is no give in the toy and the connection so when you move around this heavy toy will be noticed hitting your prostate.

Of cause you can also use the electrode also as a monopole. Just plug one banana plug into the anal electrode and the other one onto another electrode, a pin wheel or a rubber loop for example.

E-Stims System Mirco, Classic Medium and Magnum Medium Bipolar Plugs

E Stim Electrodes

Vendor: E-Stim Systems

When I started purchasing electrodes for my E-Stim box a good friend and top of mine recommended the bipolar ones from E-Stim Systems. Knowing that my anus isn’t really trained I started off with the Classic Medium but soon purchased the Micro and the Magnum Medium to have a bit more of a choice when tormenting mine or other people’s asses.

Because the electrodes are quite similar I decided to review them all at once and go into detail about the individual differences in the play section.

Construction

All electrodes reviewed in this article are from their premium range, meaning they are made out of stainless steel with high quality plastic as insulator. Due to the high quality and robust materials the electrode will probably outlive you. And if it doesn’t E-Stim Systems has a lifetime guarantee for their premium electrode.

A disassambled Magnum MediumThe plugs are made in a five-piece constriction: First there is a stainless steel base with a plastic inset. Through this inset a stainless steel screw put which first goes through a black (in case of the Mirco white) barrel shaped piece of plastic and is finally screwed to the head. There is a 4mm drilling hole at the bottom of the base and the screw where you put standard 4mm banana plugs in order to connect the electrode with your e-stim box. When cleaning your electrode after playing simply take out the cable, disassemble the electrode and wash it with warm water using soap.

When you order the electrodes directly from E-Stim’s website you can also order all electrodes in a polished version for a 10% premium. And if you are not ordering your toys directly from their website you will most likely only have the option of getting the brushed finishes.

Playing with them

First a advice how to read this section: I will only discuss how the physical properties influence the sensation. The sensation itself depends very much on your e-stim box and the program you select.

When choosing the right electrode before play there are two important things to keep in mind:

  1. Standard and Low Profile CablesThe Material: Unlike other soft materials like vinyl or silicone most anal toys are made out off stainless steel will not yield! So if you can barely fit a 38mm vinyl plug into your ass taking the Magnum Medium for example will at least take some training.
  2. The Handling: A lot of people put condoms over their anal toys when switching partners. The condom’s latex layer will at best alter the way the current flows thus might produce unwanted effects, at worst no current will flow at all. But because the stainless steel is easily cleaned and disinfected this isn’t a big issue if you clean your toy thoroughly after using it on one partner. When it comes to lube I would always recommend water-based lube.

Generally speaking when it comes to electrodes: The larger the mass and the contact area the “smoother” the sensation will be. Furthermore you will only feel the sensation at the pole with the lower mass which isn’t important for bipolar electrodes because most people can’t tell if the electro sensation is on the inner or outer side of their anus.

In order to insert an electro plug warm it up a bit up to body temperature, plug in the cables, put some lube only on the head of the electrode and gently push it into your anus. Because unlike other bipolar electrodes the base and the head is connected by a solid connection pushing it in is easy. Now connect the cable to your electro box and start the stimulation. Each of the three plugs produces a different sensation:

  1. The MicroThe Micro: Through its small size and short neck the Micro sits directly on your sphincter and only stimulates there. The small mass results in a fine line between interesting and unique buzzing feeling directly inside your anus between a challenging and also unique torture of this body part. But the size is also a problem: When your ass can take dildos from 3cm diameter on or if the Micro is lubed very well it will almost instantly slip out of your ass. I would advice maintaining light pressure on the electrode until you sit or lie down.
  2. The Classis MediumThe Classic Medium: Through its size it is easily inserted even into untrained asses. The even mass distribution between neck and head and larger mass compared to the Mirco results in a wider range of pleasurable experiences when turning up the power. The pièce de résistance of the Classic range are their three different lengths: When sitting on it, it will press onto your prostate. You just need to find the right length.
  3. The Magnum MediumThe Magnum Medium: Through its big mass the sensation feels smoother and a bit more even than the previous two ones. Of cause you need more power from the box to produce the same stimulation level. I wouldn’t recommend this electrode for a box with a low output. Through its size and weight in addition to the electro sensation you get a feeling of fullness inside your rectum. While walking the mass will develop some moving momentum and will most likely hit your prostate which has its own appeal.

Low Profile Cables pluged into the MicroE-Stim Systems claims on their website that none of the electrodes I own are designed for low profile cables. I have made my own low profile cables and the fit without a problem on the Mirco and the Magnum and with a bit of pressure on the Classic. If you want to sit on or lie down while using the electrode you need low profile banana plugs so you need to try out which works best for you.

Low Profile and Standard Cables plugged into a Magnum Medium and a MicroOf cause you can use the electrode also as a monopole. Just plug one banana plug into the anal electrode and the other one onto another electrode, a pin wheel or a rubber loop for example.  Another usage for the electrodes is using them as standard stainless steel plugs for long term wearing. Because the connection between the head and the base in not flexible you will probably get tired of wearing it sooner than when wearing a plug with a flexible connection.

Conslusion: High quality and versatile plugs not only made for e-stim.
