Unboxing the VAST Breathing System

As hot and horny breath play is, NEVER DO IT ALONE OR BY YOURSELF! Every year we lose several members of the kink community to self-breathplay. No matter how much you think you have figured out the safety and falls backs, the is always a slight and sadly often lethal chance of it failing.

This especially applies to playing with inhalants like poppers or N2O/ laughing gas.

I have known VAST (formerly Demask Dortmund) for almost 1 ½ decades. It is where I have bought my first rubber surf suit, where my sling is from and the owner and founder made the technical drawings for the bondage capable bed I am still sleeping in. Jens is not only a truly kinkster at heart but also a creative engineer who comes up with all sorts of new and horny designs. Half a year ago he told me about a system designed to make breathplay easier and safer. Since a lot of you guys are interested in this kink and I have ignored the review requests due to security concerns, I was instantly interested in it.

1 ½ weeks ago a BIG parcel arrived with a mix of final and pre-production elements of the VAST Breathing System. All elements are compatible with standard 40mm GM40 NATO gas mask accessories like hoses or filers.

Since not all elements were finally packaged, there might be some difference of what is included in a particular product. To be sure, please check the linked product page. Also, during the test production, they noticed that the black polymer was not as sturdy as they desired. They switched to another one which only comes in a cool looking dark blue. So if you are looking for an all-black aesthetics, this is not for you. Under “typical” blue or red playroom lighting, the dark blue is almost indistinguishable from black.

The heart of the VAST Breathing System is the Rebreather. Like all elements it comes in a nice wooden box with heat-embossed technical drawing of the product on top.

The Rebreather is a switch which either lets fresh air into the system or create a closed-loop rebreathing system. For the closed system either attach a standard breathing bag, a Breath Reducer…

… or the Capsule Injector.This is a T-piece with a 6l breathing bag on the one side and a male 40mm NATO thread on the other side. At the bottom is metal screw-in N2O injector. A standard N2O capsule roughly fills 6l thus the size of the breathing bag. If you want to store the toy inside the wooden box, there is space for 24 standard N2O capsules so you can keep the supplies along with the gear.The Capsule Injector also comes with an adapter to attach medical breathing gear.To scent and flavor the air you breath, there are three options. The first is the Bubbler which allows you to breath through a liquid like piss for example. It comes with a 1l bottle.

If you want to enjoy the smell of sox or underwear, go for the Sniffer.

It comes with a 1.5l…

…and a 4l container with a Ø100mm lid so you can easily put the scent carriers inside and retrieve them.

The final option is the Vaporizer.

This is again an easy to turn switch which should be placed between the air-intake of the gas mask and every other breath play accessory you want to add to your setup.

To add the vapors there is a small canister with a 70mm thread into which poppers drenched cotton is placed. Like on the Capsule Injector, there are five spaces to store poppers bottles inside the box.

To use all these toys, you need a piece of gear which covers mouth and nose and has a GM40 ports. The sleekest solution is the combination of a Medical Face Mask combined with the Mask Splitter and attached to the head using the Head Harness made out of Superior Latex.

More elaborate are of course gas masks. For the iconic Avon S10/ FM12 VAST created an Upgrade Kit to turn the standard respirator into a breath play toy.

First there is a stainless steel tool to easily take out the front insert (next week I will post a short How-to use it).

This is replaced with an air-tight  front insert which echos the look of the original. The center can be screwed off and replaced with either…

… tunnel inserts for face fucking with 40mm, 45mm or 50mm internal diameter (if you are more well-endowed, you are out of luck since there is no more space) or…

…. A holder either for a Fleshlight Classic of Fleshlight GO.

Finally, there is a new exhalation valve to enable a closed breathing circuit.

If you do not have an Avon S10/ FM12 gas mask, VAST offers a FM12 with an attached hood.

For connecting the different accessories with each other, VAST offers hoses in 12cm, 15cm, 22cm, 40cm and 42cm length.

To keep everything in place, VAST makes small belts out of their aramid reinforced Superior Latex. They are designed to attach the different gear pieces to their Superior Rubber Y-harness.

The SquarePeg Razorback

The name SquarePeg is associated with tools to get your hole read for a fist, literal Depth Probes, geometric masterpieces or maybe even realistic dildos. But the term “Fantasy Toy” is usually not one of them. However back in 2008, before Villainous Wyrms kick started the fantasy toy craze, SquarePeg introduced the Razorback, a toy sadly often overlooked. So buckle up, because way are going on an intense ride!

Construction

Razorback’s tip is like an oval cross recess of four ridges. On the top and on the bottom these are thin, yet to the bottom widening bands of ridges which end about 65mm above the bottom. On their way down the individual ridges get longer and display a display a nifty design feature: They are slightly offset, meaning the edge of the top ridge is positioned above the slope middle of the bottom one. So when you ride the toy slowly the sensation alters between the two ridge bands. To increase this sensation, the Razorback bends slightly forwards.

Lateral there are three ridges: One kinked flowing into the tip forming almost a glans, one one third and another two thirds down the shaft. The lower two are rising quite steeply out of the smooth flanks.

On the way downwards the diameter of the Razorback gets bigger and changes shape. The bottom is a square with 100mm edge length. This geometric form makes the Razorback very gripable especially when a top is operating the toy and twists it inside your hole. If you are playing on your own, the wide base makes for an excellent and secure stand even when bouncing on the toy hard.

SquarePeg only makes toys out of US made platinum silicone. This means the toys’ surface is super smooth which makes it hard for bacteria to linger and easy to clean. All toys are 100% body-safe and hypo-allergenic. These advantages come with a small disadvantage: You must not use silicone toys with silicone lube because in the long term it will destroy the toy. SquarePeg claims on their website that their toys are safe to use with quality silicone lube but I would err at the side of caution and only use it with water- or oil-based lubes. Colorwise you are limited to SquarePeg’s signature Bronze or Graphite since this toy is only offered in supersoft firmness.

Playing with the Razorback

The glans of the Razorback gently opens up even tighter sphincter. At about 60x47mm at the first ridge edge in combination with the supersoft silicone it is a toy even an advance beginner can enjoy.  As you ride the toy deeper into your rectum, you experience the pure genius of the ridge design: Steep enough to stretch, yet soft enough to gently plop through the sphincter. If you ridge a section of two or three ridges up and down, you really feel how alternately they stimulate the prostate and tease the tailbone (which some testees actually found uncomfortable). One caste testee who’s specialized in prostate orgasms called the Razorback “a gentle yet rapid fire Organotoy Saw”.

Even for going into the colon, the toy has been purposefully designed. The ridges work as predetermined bending point. So when there is a kink to get around, the body will adjust making going deep somewhat easy. If they colon does not tense up due to the intense message of all ridges.

The lateral ridges are something only really experienced players can enjoy. The sudden increase in diameter gives a GOOD stretch in the sphincter and once you have gotten to know the toy well some orientation how deep you have taken the toy already. However such increase suddenly knocking at or worse busting through the transition of rectum to colon can be a painful experience. So especially when going to, progress with caution the first few times.

Since the body’s intersection is oval, the orientation how you insert it, changes the sensations drastically. If you insert it in line with the sphincter it gently opens you up and stimulates the prostate like written above. If you insert it perpendicularly, it “forces” open your hole open. The ridges scratch the sides of the sphincter and the lateral ridges almost knock over the prostate. It is a very strange and “dull” experience, lacking the finesse the Razorback usually has. But if you are into this kind of play, give it a try! If you want to go deep, make sure the arch of the Razorback is in line towards your colon. Otherwise it is almost impossible to go this way. What I do recommend however is for the top to twist it while moving in and out.  The added stretch and  surprising position of the ridges are a very horny experience.

All things considered, the Razorback is a typical SquarePeg toy. Each “sensation point” has been designed and placed so cleverly, only a sculptor and ass play aficionado could do. Conversely, the Razorback is a toy of nuances to be experienced and appreciated. Of course you can ride is vigorously and have hot and horny time. But my testees and I agree, it is best enjoyed not lying in the sling but in doggy position when the colon is most relaxed. This way you can focus on each ridge popping, the diameter slowly stretching and scream out of ecstasy when the top twists the toys deeply lodged inside you.

Being a very particular toy, not many retails sell the Razorback which is a pity! It has become one of my favorite toys for depth play with experienced kinkster! SeriousToyS Rubber Stirrups

The SeriousToyS Rubber Stirrups

Construction

These are the matching stirrups to the rubber sling I reviewed four years ago. Back then their store was still called Demask Dortmund. Since then they have rebranded to Vast and have set up an online shop which makes purchasing their other awesome toys way easier.

Since they are the matching stirrups, they are made the same way out of the same material: Three layers of 2mm thick industrial rubber have been reinforced with Kevlar for maximum durability. To deliver this durability during suspension, even on a shear-prone material like rubber, they did not simply punch a hole through the three layers or riveted a D-ring under a rubber loop as an anchor point. Instead of this they used stainless steel fittings which cover the first 65mm of the rubber. On The “inside” of the stirrups the metal plate extends beyond the rubber and has a 20mm diameter eyelet hole on top. On the “outside” there is just a stainless steel plate. Both fittings are not attached directly to the rubber but house the rubber between themselves through 4 stainless steel screws (rounded hex head on the inside, acorn nut on the outside).

Industrial rubber and metal are tough materials to work with. They require a lot of work to be made “playroom ready”. In the manufacturing process all metal and rubber edges have been painstakingly deburred and given a top notch finished. There is no single rough edge or area that can cause chafing. I would even trust to run ropes through the eyelets.

The rubber is slightly oval shaped, measuring 800mm from one end to the other and being 100mm wide in the middle. The overall length is 860mm from metal tip to metal tip. In the product picture on the website they come with a two simple carabiners. I guess I have gotten those too but actually cannot remember.

Playing with the Rubber Stirrups

Don’t let yourself be fooled by the ambivalent website description: This toy is made out of rubber, not vinyl! And it has the smell to prove it! I have bought these stirrups in October of 2019 and they still smell like a fresh rubber suit! A smell fetishist friend of mine love putting a guy with rank sox into those so he can alter between the sox and the rubber smell.

Speaking of fetishists, these stirrups are made for gearheads! Not only because of the material and the rough & heavy duty aesthetic but because of the size. Most leather or nylon stirrups are large enough to more or less comfortable enter with slim sneaker like Nike TNs. Combat boots are already a struggle to get in and especially out of. And as soon as it comes to bulkier sneakers like Nike Shox (sorry, I only wear Nikes and do not know any Adidas sneaker) or MX boots they do not fit through all other commercial stirrups I have encountered so far. Unlike the SeriousToyS ones! Using professional carabiners to connect the eyelets, you get a clear height of 360mm and a width of 170mm. That is plenty of space for most fetish footwear. If you have really large feet, use individual carabiners for each eyelet to increase the clear height and width even more.

The SeriousToyS Rubber Stirrups are especially made for heavy and messy play. Lube and other substances clean easily off the rubber. And since it is industrial rubber, it requires well less maintenance than the sheet rubber used for fetish clothing. If you want to, you can of course shine the rubber with silicone oil. Though since the lower calf will rest inside the stirrups I would not recommend it.

The corresponding sling was used to suspend a Smart car in the on one anchor point. Since the same material and manufacturing process are used, I am very confident this toy will have approximately the same breaking load. And while I would not recommend using this toy to lift your car, I actually use the stirrups as torso support belts in suspension bondage scene. With a few chains and a strong suspension spread bar, they double as a basic sit sling!

For all this kind of “perverterable” scenes, I wish, Vast would offer individual and/ or longer ones for sale. For a proper sit sling you need a third one for back support and for heavier people longer ones would also be great for suspension scenes. But at the moment, especially looking at the price of even simple leather stirrups, these offer incredible value for money! And if you are a rubber fetishist who strives towards an all rubber playroom, there is now nearly as good alternative on the market.

From a reviewer’s point of view, the Steed arrived at a bad timing: I got this toy just after Christmas and at the beginning of the annual review break. So while I had much time to send it to different testees and get very varied opinions on this toy, I rarely got more messages asking me if I could already give an interim opinion. So it is just to start the new review season with this toy!

The Sinnovator Steed

Construction

Like all Sinnovator toys, the Steed is made out of platinum silicone which is 100% body safe, super-smooth and hypo allergenic. The casting is perfect! Small details are shaped perfectly, there are no frayed edges.

You can choose between two firmness degrees Medium Soft which is Shore A4 and Medium which is Shore A10. For most toy companies the “firm” range starts at A8 and the medium is around A5 so keep in mind that Sinnovator toys are on the firmer end of the softness scale. When it comes to colors, the options at Sinnovator are almost limitless. From classic black over Steed’s Signature which is a vibrant red – silver split to total custom ideas, everything is possible. I asked Sinnovator to surprise me with something extraordinary and got this psychedelic madness which I love!

The Steed connected to a Vac-u-Lock Grip

Add-on-wise you can get everything you could want from a fantasy dildo: A cum tube costs £25 and which as you might know do not really recommend because the feeling is not that impressive and the cleaning is a nightmare. The suction cup add £20 but sadly none of my friends and testees had a Sinnovator toy with this add-on so I cannot judge the usefulness of this feature. A no-brainer is the free Vac-u-Lock hole. Add it in any case, even if you do not have the matching accessories (which if you are an avid ass pig should get), because sticking a finger into the hole makes guiding the toy into your play partner’s ass SO much easier. What surprised me that the Vac-u-Lock hole was about an inch too short to fully take my grip. Friends also had the same experience with various fuck machines. It does not compromise the suction/ grip of the adapter much. It just looks weird.

Playing with the Steed

The Steed is a toy for texture junkies. It roughly has the shape of a realistic horse dick. But the shaft is texture with deep ridges and high veins, not seen on a living animal. But that is the joy of dildos: They can be better than the reality.

Especially the large version requires some depth experience to be fully enjoyed. At 254mm insertable length it is just long enough to pop through the second sphincter for most bodies though short enough to be handled easily. The for this sensitive body area relatively deep texture around the glans rim makes the Steed a devilish tool for teasing and stimulating. Just below the glans there is a short resting area with no texture so you can stretch and torment the second sphincter by popping the glans through it.

This section ends with three relatively shallow horizontal grooves. For most other guys this marks the end of the second sphincter stimulation (though I know one greedy petite puppy from Tirol who will probably like to differ).  But especially the thick vertical veins are a delight to when twisted inside the anus.

In the middle of the shaft is a horizontal ridge, typical for anatomically correct horse dildos. But on the Steed is a perfectly horizontal, at size L almost 10mm wide area which especially in firm POPS! On the top of the shaft there is another, slightly shallower ridge. From first ring on, a deep ventral groove textures the shaft along with two thick veins left and right of it. The combination of this horizontal and vertical texture makes riding and twisting the Steed a delight – if you can focus on this area. Because when you have gone so deep, the tip will have penetrated the second sphincter, leading to an intense double stimulation of that area and the anus. So the Steed is not for the faint of heart or beginner. The intense stimulation can lead to the sphincter to tighten up. Start slowly and see where the moans of your bottom take you.

Finally a word of caution for the experience player: I chose this toy based on the circumference values on the Sinnivator website. And even after reviewing anal toys some 5 years now, I am still struggling with circumference values as a representation of size. So when I got my large Steed, I was disappointed how small it was. Of course, with the Stallion Sinnovator offers a larger horse dildos but that model is just as smooth as the other three horse dildos in my collection. So hopefully at some point Sinnovator will offer the Steed in an XXL version with 65mm glans diameter and 311mm insertable length (scaled proportionally from the site L).

Here’s the review

Happy Valentine’s Day! ToyTorture.com is still on hiatus and will return just in time for the Easter debaucheries in Berlin. But every time Oxball releases a new Pig-Hole, my inbox explodes. So I am taking a break from the break to tell you the thoughts of the ToyTorture.com Testee Panel on the new Pig-Hole Morph.

The Pig-Hole Morph XXL

Construction

There is not much new about the Pig-Hole Morph. It is still a tunnel plug with a barrel-shaped body. Inside the body there are grooves for a bit added stability and texture sensation. The top of the body is a bit slanted for easy insertion while at the bottom it tappers and the opens up to a nice and wide base.

It comes in four sizes: Large, XL, FF and Deep-2 (the larger one of the Pig-Hole Deep) and is only available in a dark & light blue swirl with glitter. This tone is the signature color of Oxball’s new Morph Silicone which sets this toy apart from its predecessors. Keeping the shape, dimensions and wall thickness the same as the toys in the original silicone, the Morph Silicone is 10% stretchier (and about 10% lighter if you really have to watch your weight when flying…). Cleaning-wise it is still easy maintenance with just hot dish-soap water, a bit of brushing, drying, sanitizing and done.

Playing with the Pig-Hole Morph

If you want to know what makes the original Pig-Hole or the Pig-Hole FF great for play, check out their original reviews. In this article, I will focus how the new stretchiness of the material impacts the play.

First the bad news: The softer material makes the Pig-Hole even more difficult to insert. My recommendation is still to fold the toy, push the compact package through the sphincter and then manually unfold it. Folding the toy’s body with lubey hands has become a bit easier through the softer material, but getting it to pop through a not already gaping sphincter has become more difficult. Also, the unfolding takes a lightly looser sphincter than before since the material has less basic tension. So it is easier for the sphincter to close it (partly). But on the other hand, the Pig-Hole now adjusts more easily to body and gives in to movement. This is important for the people who want to wear it long-term. Especially when walking, the original silicone the base a bit to rigid and in some situation had so much leverage that the body was pulled out. This does not happen with the Morph.

The softer material also makes it easier to fist through the Pig-Hole. The top can get in easier and the chances of pulling the entire Pig-Hole out with the fist, are significantly lower. Since the material does adjust more to the surroundings and whatever is stuffed inside it, my testees preferred the Morph over the original Pig-Hole when adding a plug for shutting it. The plug stayed better in place, was more comfortable to wear over time and kept liquids from escaping more securely.

Finally, let’s talk about the texture side of things. Finally, the grooves inside the body can be felt properly when the top is targeting them. With the original material it was just a faint massaging, with the Morph you can really feel them when the top is pressing against them. If you want more, simply turn the Pig-Hole inside out. While this was already possible under great stress with the original Pig-Hole XXL and is probably theoretically possible with the original Pig-Hole FF, with the Morph it is a jiffy. Now the grooves are on the outside and pulled over a large enough toy or fist can turn it into an interesting textured plug!

In the USA, Mr S sells the Pig-Hole Morph for $96.95 – 133.95 while in the EU Abgott Fetish seems to be the only retailer so far selling it between 80€ and 110€.

McHurt Rubber Paddles

The McHurt Plain Rubber Paddle and Rubber Paddle with Holes

I sometimes get messages from rubber fetishist who are looking for impact implements made out of their favorite material. I already reviewed the rubber implements sold by Mr S and the vicious Ballistic Metal Viper but I guess you can never have enough spanking toys.

Construction

Today I will be reviewing to paddles: A plain oval one and a rectangular one with holes in the impact section. Both paddles are made out of industrial rubber which is different from the latex used for fetish play because aging protectors and antioxidants are added in the manufacturing process. Because of this you do not apply talc powder or silicone oil when storing the paddles or have to worry too much when they come in contact with oil or fat (though you should also not test their resistance too much). Of course rubber still is a hard to treat and delicate material. So the paddles do not look as refined and spotless as leather or wood paddles. But they have been executed perfectly. All the sharp edges from the water saw have been broken and deburred to prevent unintended cuts. The grip on both paddles are two thick pieces of screwed through the body with two sturdy bolts. So much for the similarities.

The plain paddle has an overall length of 30cm, half of it for the grip. The oval shaped impact section is 15cm long and measures 8cm at the widest spot. The body is made out of 6mm thick rubber which as a smooth and a rougher surface which comes from the manufacturing process. The rubber is just thin enough to still be floppy.

The other paddle is equally long and has the same grip length. The impact section is also 8cm wide but rectangular. Three rows with two holes each have been drilled into the surface to allow air to travel through them. The body is made out of two 6mm thick rubber pieces glues together on the rough side so you have a smooth surface on both sides. To strengthen the tie, seam runs around the paddle.

Through their unique construction, they produce unexpected sensations for rubber impact implements. First, let’s look at the plain paddle.

Usually, you could not make a long-lasting paddle out of 6mm thick rubber because it would break too easily. McHurt fixed that through the reinforced grip. The grip also focuses the kinetic energy purely on the impact section. Because of that the paddle can be used for light tapping and actually also warm-up. Increasing the power quickly transforms the tapping sensation into pure sting. The sting is a bit dulled when using the rough surface but it also adds an abrasive sensation. Especially when spanking powerful the plain paddle colors quickly. Sadly through the thick grip, the paddle is a bit unbalanced towards the grip.

The paddle with holes is a completely different matter. Through the weight, stiffness and denseness of the double layered rubber it is a thuddy bruiser. So it should only be used on well-padded body areas to prevent unintended injuries. The paddle does not really color that much but when it does, it leaves bruises. Due to the holes there is no air cushion softening the impact. So it is not for the faint of heart. To be honest, compared to other rubber paddles it takes quite some power to make the sub scream with this paddle. But luckily the paddle is well balanced so the wrist does not tire out easily.

Rubber is a good material for sever spankings because is the sub starts to bleed or the impact pushes out tissue water, rubber can easily be sanitized. Simply wash the paddle with warm water and dish soap and spray with sanitizer after is tried.

BenSWild Made to Measure Cockring

For some kinksters a simple cockring is their entry into non-vanilla sex. BenSWild manufactures their cockrings out of solid stainless steel giving them a decent weight. The finish is flawless with smooth rounded edges and spotless surfaces. You can either have the cockring in polished or with a satin finish. Another surface option are one or two gouges, either round or v-shaped ones like I have.

While you can get cockrings with different surface designs from many manufacturers, what sets the BenSWild design apart is the shape: Instead of being a perfect circle they are shaped like a isosceles triangle with round corners. The advantage of this shape is it sits snuggly with little slag. This means the blood retaining effect is stronger while being more comfortable. I got longer lasting, harder erections and a bit more powerful orgasms compared to my old round stainless steel ring and a way more intense experience than from TPR cockrings like Oxballs makes them. The BenSWild cockring is so comfortable that I sometimes fell asleep wearing mine. This can actually happen more often than you might expect because the tighter fit means that the dick needs to be real soft in order to put it on or take it off. I probably have to get a new one because with my new PA piercing it has become a real struggle to squeeze the dick below the steel rim.

More important than customizing the look are the options when it comes to the functional aspect of the ring. For just 5€ you can make the inside of the ring convex. This makes putting the ring on extremely more easily, especially when you get wider rings. Since the skin contact area is smaller, the cockring can move a bit easier so it settles easily in the most comfortable position. The other options is width of the ring which can be chosen from 10mm up to a whopping 30mm in one millimeter steps. The width is important for a comfortable feel and to act a bit as a barrier for the cavernous body to erect against. Finding the right one is very much personal taste. A general rule of thumb is the more low hangers and/ or meatier the balls are, the wider the ring can be. I have a 20mm ring and am very happy with it. Other, cheaper cockrings are so thin that they cut the blood flow off in an uncomfortable way. This will not happen even with the 10mm wide version.

Finally, you need to figure out the correct size. You can either do it on your own using a tape measure to get the circumference of your junk’s base to calculate the diameter. Or if are lucky enough to meet the guys from BenSWild at an event, you can ask nicely to get the incredibly sexy cub who is the owner to measure you himself.

The cockrings which all come in a cool black carrying pouch are rather pricey, starting at 39€ and going up to 85€ for the largest, fully equipped model. But in my opinion (and in the many opinions of my friends who got BenSWild cockrings) it is worth the investment because they cannot only be used as a stylish napkin ring when the in-laws are coming for dinner but are so solid that they will last you a lifetime and bring you countless hours of fun.
